Meet the Author
Hello, I'm Linine Langley (Lyneen), author of the book series: "Passionate Poison".
My story began in Evandale, Tasmania where I attended Kings Meadows High School, later earning a Psychology diploma in 1996.
For years, I dedicated myself to spinal care nursing, but health challenges in 2024 led me to embrace my true calling: Dark Romantic Suspense and Psychological Thrillers. I’m now deep in the shadows, crafting the Passionate Poison!

Wow what a book! I thoroughly enjoyed this novella, and was pleasantly satisfied by the ending. Passionate Poison was such an interesting domestic suspense novel that kept me interested from beginning to the very end. Jane, Monique, Nate and all the other characters that end up brilliantly woven into this dark web were fascinating to walk with and read about. I'm definitely happy I decided to give this book a chance, and I think readers who enjoy domestic suspense combined with a psychological thriller aspect and an unreliable narrator will find Passionate Poison a thrilling read.

This book is an addictive read! The details really submerse you into the enviroment and into all of the feelings the main character is going through. Which is what all books should do! I love her writing so far and honestly want more.

Passionate Poison: When Lust Lies Betrayal Becomes your DEMISE is a short story about a woman who has made choices she regrets but can’t make herself move on. Loving someone you know is not a good person is never a good idea but some people think more with their heart than their head. I believe this is a companion book to another, longer, book. The main character talks about another woman she was friends with in the past and how she made choices that caused her to get hurt. It’s a good, quick read.

This is a short story to go along with a longer story but the same author. As with the longer story, my only dislike was the flow of the story. Now I will say, that since this is a short story, it obviously needs to move quickly. I would absolutely recommend reading the longer story first to gain context, but both are absolutely worth the read.

This book is very emotional and had me really think about how easy it can be to justify bad decisions until they really catch up with you.
The main character felt realistic because she isn't perfect, and her struggles made the story feel real, even made me think of my struggles in life.

So Besties... if you enjoy romance with a healthy dose of suspense, this one is worth checking out! I really appreciated that it was written in 1st-person POV because it made Jane's emotions feel so much more immersive and pulled me deeper into the story.
